代朋友入狱多年的麦基（刘青云）刑满释放，左顾右盼无人来接。相比，与他同时出狱的少年阿飞豹仔（黄斌）则有好友香鸡（马斯晨）、小龙（樊少皇）、长颈及肥龟来接。这几人组成了以香鸡为首的聋哑扒手小团体，常用可以博市民同情的招数偷窃钱包、躲过劫难，另一个少年犯罪集团是他们的宿敌。麦基因救香鸡一命与她认识，又通过她认识靠出卖肉体养活丈夫的亚莲（苏祖儿）。
