纳努克?里奥泊德（1968）在阿姆斯特丹的荷兰电影&电视学院学习导演课程。她的毕业作品《周末》在荷兰电影节和慕尼黑电影节上获奖。
在执导编剧了几部短片和电视剧《麦克斯 露帕》之后，她开始为电影杂志Skrien做自由撰稿人并为VPRO节目“星团”写评论。《漂浮的岛》（2001）是她首部长篇电影。
